I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween! I’m heading home soon to enjoy company with the rascals, but I leave you with this!

This year for Halloween my quad (the group of assorted worker types that I work with) and the quad leaders decided that we’d be Gangrene for Halloween. That’s right. I’m a disease. Go ahead and say it, just this once. But, oh, the creative minds behind it didn’t stop there, they decided that we had to spice it up by being gang members that wear lots of green…
Well, I dressed up anyway because, well, ”Halloween is a big thing” at my work.
So Happy Halloween everyone and enjoy the start of Winter’s Nights tonight!!!!
And of course, most importantly,
Thank you to everyone who commented on my short!
I walked out of the office later than everyone else and the parking lot was empty and I was already feeling like I would rather be anywhere than walking out of that particular parking lot. It startled me at first, the noise, because it was so loud and I instinctively ducked down- What the fuck was that?
A group of kids stood huddled, shooting paint balls up at the Riverside apartments. They couldn’t have been any younger than I. I started laughing where I stood because I would have given anything to be in that group, painting million-dollar-a-month apartment lofts in a variety of colors, one by one.
“Your days of plenty are numbered.”
Did you hear that?
So when I got home, Tyler jumped out of the bushes and scared me silly, and fittingly so- he, Tom, and I went for a walk/jog/bike ride and then Rue joined us and we attempted to kidnap Mallory and Jei-
And ended up spending the evening watching Bubba Ho-Tep and enjoying each other’s company. Not to mention Tyler and I jammed the best pizza possible. (spinach, Alfredo and tomato!!) Everyone enjoy your evening and know that Final Fantasy XII will be released at midnight tonight, and it’s been about six years since a FF (not including the MMO XI or X-2) has been at my fingertips.
This hectic week from hell is almost over, and unfortunately I work tomorrow. Where did my weekend go? Well, I finally fixed Papercuts, and just in time for NaNoWriMo. I made my layout for November and updated the writing section. Unfortunately I have to some major catching up today still, homework, maybe an outline, I have a book to read, and Jei and I wanted to go spend some time together outside.
I spent the early part of my morning putting the non-virtual “Us Rascals” photo album together and updated the gallery as well, and I also snapped a photo of my painting which I will now proceed to finish on the computer once my laptop is fixed. I have to go and get some green at Godwill for this ridiculous outfit for Tuesday and I was hoping to pick up some rice, too. I’m fairly certain that without the extra hour from daylight savings, I probably wouldn’t make it in getting everything done. This turned out to be more of a reminder to me than an actual update.
Oh well.
