So I was privileged to see at least two of my sisters this evening because I met them for their meal and play time at the Burger King in Acme, but was also able to hang out and chat a bit with my mom, who is a never ending source of wisdom and encouragment. During my endevours however, I learned a neat new trick to immediately implement into my scarf making this year. Which slides me right on to my next topic! As most of you know, I’m knitting a scarf for several people this year, and today I completed my very first one, which has been delivered to my mother. Cheers! And enjoy the rain!
That’s more like it! I enjoyed this movie quite a bit, and it actually hit a little close to home for me, as I feel Jeff Daniels portrayed an all-to-accurate depiction of my father. The acting blew that of Lonesome Jim out of the water, the characters were rich and real and everyone had loads of faults. I chuckled; I was shocked, but overall very pleased with the film, and I enjoyed it more than I did Little Miss Sunshine- simply because it was more real to me than the Hollywood slaphappy turn out of Little Miss. I would recommend it if you enjoyed Closer, Everything is Illuminated, or The Royal Tenenbaums.
