So you’re never going to believe what happened to me on my way to get some Schelde’s broccoli and cheddar soup…
Well, the plan was to go to work today, but when I got up, and opened my mouth, nothing but a dull crackle and a shadow of sound bubbled out.  So I was forced to call in to work, leaving me with using some precious vacation time, but I’m definitely okay with that. So I was going to get some soup, a maybe ten minute trip, but I took my camera- and Jei and I stopped at the state hospital to shoot some photos.  You can take a catch a sneak peak at some of them here, and the rest I will upload as soon as I am able.  I spent some time also uploading all of the Halloween photos, if you’d like to snag a peek.  And also I’ll be uploading the birthday bash photos as soon as I can as well, but if you have a facebook you can see them there.  : )

Well, I wasn’t as hyped about this book when I finished it as I was when I picked it up, though I think some of you might enjoy it more so than I did. It’s written in a screenplay format as well as journal inserts- and it was good, mind you, I was just maybe expecting a little bit more from it.  I’d give it two out of five stars, maybe three. Steve Harmon, sixteen years old, is on trial for murder- possibly facing the death penalty or life in prison.  It gives an interesting depiction of our judicial system, but most of it, I would hope we already know…
