This video was a little bit older but I wanted to actually upload it before it was too late. This is the last video we filmed (well, last video I will put up) of us in the old apartment. It’s absolutely ridiculous, much like When We Get Bored (which is currently resting at 1,657 views, 6 people list it as a favorite, and I still have no idea how) but for some reason I didn’t label it in the When We Get Bored Series. Oh well, tomorrow my mother and the kids are coming over to celebrate Christmas and I can take a break from all this moving. I’ll film a video tour of the apartment tomorrow, even though we’re not totally done. Cheers and Happy Holidays.
I. am. so. sore. But we’re almost all moved in. Yesterday was everyone’s day off (except I went in to work for an hour and a half) and we moved most of the furniture and set up our computers and everything because Charter came early this morning to set up our cable. Midway through the move yesterday I misplaced the camera (read: accidentally packed) and didn’t find it until this morning. But don’t worry, I’ll definitely be giving a tour sometime this afternoon, but for now I’m off to do some more moving and unpacking, and tonight we’re going to have a huge celebration dinner with real mashed potatoes, stuffing, etc. (If I can stop stuffing my face with Tyler’s mother’s move in/Christmas cookies) I’m really, really excited about it. Both Tyler and Rue work today so I’m hoping that I can unpack everything and surprise them for when they come home.
On a different note, I’m going to be starting a really neat project on the first of January, except of course I’m tweaking mine a little bit. I like the idea of writing for the full 365 days, because that’s an amazing project to take on for a full year, but I don’t want to push myself with word counts; (it would only be 21 words, but still) I want to write as little or as much about each person as I want. So here’s the question. Do I do this one person a day for 365 days here? Or do I use x365.trailingtwilight.com? Or maybe I could put up both “Pieces of Me” and x365 on a different directory? Anyway, if anyone wants to join me or has any suggestions on where to put it, certainly feel free and message me or comment, it’s going to be a lot of fun.
