momma!

This entry is going to be long, just to let you know! So birthday dinner with my mother and the girls was absolutely amazing, we got together early and went to borders, where I got tons of books with my Borders gift cards: Everything Is Illuminated, Everything Must Go, How to Kill A Rock Star, God-Shaped Hole, Timeline, and Choke. Mom also got me this really sweet journal that I’ll have to take a picture of to show, which is great because I’m almost done in my other written one, as well as a really neat button up shirt that fit wonderfully and I wore it the very next day and some wonderful pajamas, which I wore that night. (Tyler, Rue and I went to Family Video and they insisted I stay in my pajamas, so I did. It was fun.)

For my 21st birthday drink at Olive Garden I had a great big glass of chocolate milk, delivered in a wine glass and it was better than any alcoholic drink I could have had. Though when we went to Golden Chopsticks, I did try some Japanese Plum Wine, but the waitress (whom I adore almost as much as I did Haus) didn’t even card me because I guess she just trusted us. But isn’t that half the fun? (Getting carded I mean?) Anyway, I didn’t mind and dinner was a blast, and afterward we went home and watched The Fifth Element and started to watch Pirates of the Carribean II, but Rue crashed first and then Tyler, Jei and I followed shortly after. All and all it was a super super two-day spread. Thanks everyone.

Last time I saw you
You were trailing away
With the wind,
One note short
Of silence.
Never was there
A soul
As light
And temporary
As you were
