One of the things I love about having short hair is that I can parade around with my short hair and then twenty seconds later I can have long lushes locks again simply by clipping in hair extensions. ($12 K-Mart) I worked on a dance routine a little bit today as part of a work out and partly to let out some of my pent up creative juices. I don’t know what I would do with myself if I didn’t have a job or if I was self employeed. I’d either get a whole bunch done all the time or I would just be overwhelmed by the idea that I could do whatever I wanted at this particular moment that I wouldn’t do anything at all. Once again, I am glad I do not have television, because all it does is waste time and rot your brain and I’m sure I’d just sit in front of it all day instead of doing the fun creative things I like doing instead. (Like sitting on the computer for hours? Hush. I know.) It came up in conversation the other day and both Tyler and Rue agreed they are happier without it. Don’t get me wrong, we have some TV shows on DVD (TNG and The Pretender, Dead Like Me) and we have a ton of movies- but we pick those. We choose when to watch them and what to put in. We aren’t rotting away in front of the tube for hours on end. Moving on-
I finally checked my grades and I had 4.0 across the board last semester. All that hard work paid off.
It seems as though my written journal (which spans from the start of this site) to the new year will probably be finished off tonight. And I’ll start up a new one. I also might sketch. Or arrange my desk. Or clean my room. Or write. So many choices, so much time! The night is still young!

You were the quiet little mouse, but I remember you. You read an “Animorphs” book after I did a book report on one of them in class and came to tell me that you enjoyed it, and that I should try the Redwall series. You were good in class. You were good in gym class too, but I can’t recall you playing any sports.
