For those of you living in the United States and also coming up on Memorial Day weekend, get your purses out and start peeling your eyes. (Haha. Go on, laugh. It’s punny.) This weekend kicks off the major thrift shopping, garage sale, second hand weekend of the year! Everyone’s doing their spring/summer cleaning and prepairing for garage sales! I know I’m excited! I’m bringing my camera, of course, and I’ll take lots of photos, even though I still have a bunch to upload from last weekend.
I am looking to decorate my house, as it’s terribly plain and there isn’t much inside at all. Any help from anyone with an eye for design would be MUCH appreciated. I will take some photos of the apartment tonight and come back and upload them here so you can see what a barren disaster it is. I’m hoping to nab some good decorations this weekend.

My sister drew this. It’s stunning, I think. She comes home from Herman’s Land (Germany) on August 1st. It is so hot upstairs it is ridiculous. That is all I have to say, aside from the fact that I have unlocked my livejournal and made it public. It doesn’t seem like a big deal because this site is open and available for the public- but because of past stalker issues, I do worry about it. But I think it’s over now. For you Livejournalers, I’ve deleted “tosatisfyme” and can now be found at “dontforgetme”.

The internet at the house is down and has been since Friday. This site has also been down since Friday and I didn’t know. I’m really frustrated with it because our internet won’t be back up until Tuesday. I’m just so tired of this.
