This is a waste of time for you to watch, and no that’s not an advertising ploy. This is really only for the people who know us: we wanted to be able to share it with those friends far away.
We’re nerds who had just spent the last 18 hours playing D&D showerless and hungry and took a short trip out for food and snacks. It’s seriously ten minutes of us rambling about werewolves. That sounds boring, doesn’t it? Well, unless you’re a D&D nerd like us, it probably will be.
But thanks for stopping by. =)
But if you make it to the end, let me know, leave me some love.
What Were animal would YOU be?
Today is the first day I’ve slept more than four hours in a row. (I slept for five.) I’ve had maybe nine hours stretched between the past week so pardon me if this doesn’t make a lot of sense. Or it’s jumpy. I can’t believe over a year has gone by. Yesterday Rue, Tyler and I packed up his desk and mattresses and took them to his parents because he’s leaving in a two days to go down to a major university for school. If any of you see him, please smile at him for me, because I will miss him dearly. I thought I could handle the move, but I was exhausted and became a little emotional. We all did. But I couldn’t help it: it hit upon seeing his room so empty. I’ll see him again tomorrow, right before he leaves, but it’s still hard. I’ll go from seeing him every day to not at all and that’s quite a change. I’ve just been so busy because the summer ends in a few days for so many people and it will going back to rare visits and long distances. It’s strange, but I find myself a constant. No matter where my friends go for the fall, during spring they come back to me. Birds migrating for the winter. They go, and I’m still here, but they always come home.
And me, completely groggy and grumpy, “Happy Birthday, baby.”
“Can I open my present now?”
“Now?” I ask. “At one in the morning?”
And then he said, “Yeah!” as only Jei can.
For Jei’s birthday I gave him a new desk so he could actually sit at something other than a coffee table with his computer, and a book on the Cosmos with real pictures I’ve seen him displaying as his wallpaper. I think it’s safe to say he’s enjoying both. =)
It’s late, I’m uploading a video that’s at 11% (Wow, it’s been a while) and I’ll be back to edit this entry. By the way, I actually took the footage of the surprise questions everyone asked me back in March and I will be uploading that soon as well. So far it’s 20 minutes long!!! Yikes! I just can’t imagine anyone would want to watch 20 minutes of me talking. =\
