I have two friends (one from Virginia the other from Georgia) and they have just slight southern accents and their voices are beautiful, seductive, and they sound so intellectual.
With my northern accent I say words like, “fur” instead of “four” and “yer” instead of “your”.
I wish I sounded more like either of them.
