It was Rue’s birthday today, well yesterday actually, but we haven’t been to bed yet so it doesn’t count. I started my day by doing some thrift shopping at the sidewalk sales, as most of the garage sales are tomorrow (I can’t wait, I can’t wait!) and I snagged some amazing stuff I’ll have to take pictures of tomorrow as I’ve been flooding the heck out of my flickr account. (Glee.) To sum it up I got A PLAID UMBRELLA OMFG, a really cool DINASOUR pencil case, and you know what? There’s a lot I snagged and that’s a lot to write out. And I’m tired. I’ll upload pictures later. Yeah, that’s cheap. No, I don’t care.

I also spent some time writing some letters to soliders that Booga brought to my attention, and I hope that some of you can take a look at it too. She’s right when she says regardless of how we feel about the war, there are people over there losing friends, family, and faith in human beings. We can help.

The boys set up their computers tonight for a lan party and have been playing ever since we got back from the Olive Garden. It’s been fun to watch and listen to. But now I’m exhausted and need to go to bed. Tomorrow my little sister turns eight.
