My sister turns nine tomorrow, and since she wants yet can’t have a pet bird, I put some fake ones on the edges of her presents. In the book store I struggled quite a bit over what books to get her, and had to call Kat and see if she thought they were too hard. In the end we chose the first two books of “The Sisters Grimm” series. I hope she likes them. She also has some candles decorated with pretty birds and a calligraphy set coming her way as well. Assuming the calligraphy set doesn’t cost a small fortune.

I’m not sure what I’m going to do now. Maybe I’ll watch a movie or play Silent Hill 3. Or finish up my journal. Or paint. The choices are endless.

I just wanted to say a few, quick things: JC, I’m sorry I missed you, good luck on your move and we will keep in touch. You are an awesome woman and I look up to you a lot.

I found a new setting on my camera and I’m really excited about it. And I’m writing again. I’m working on my Kingdom post and Escaping Iron.

It’s my sister’s twentieth birthday today so I’m going to go make her breakfast and we’re going to play video games. (Her party was yesterday.)

Well, I’m twenty-two. First of all, thank you everyone for the birthday wishes and phone calls! I had a wonderful day yesterday I can’t even begin to describe it. But I’m going to try. When I woke up I saw a message on my website from my sweet darling. It made me smile and contort into weird faces. Unfortunately, he was stuck working yesterday and couldn’t even come home early. So when the day started, I was feeling a little down. But then my mom came over to blow up balloons and deliver the following food: her wonderful turkey soup, homemade bread, and a cherry pie. And my sister cooked me a fantastic breakfast. Then friends came over and we had pizza and CAKE.

Will baked the cake from his own recipe, or a collection of random ideas from different recipes. It was SOOO good. I was so surprised, too. Not that it was good, but that he made me a cake. I’ve named it Cinnamon Explosion because when he walked in he said, “I’ve baked you a cinnamon cake. It’s been INJECTED with cinnamon.”

It really made my day.

Then we played D&D long into the night and watched a movie and the list could go on and on so I’ll just say basically I HAD THE BEST DAY.

And I got the best pajamas.
