I made my first batch of “Cinnamon Infusion” pancakes, inspired by Will and the cake he made. They were surprisingly good. And by that I mean I’m always afraid I’ll ruin things because I don’t necessarily know what I’m doing. I add, “pinches” and “a dash of that” and don’t really use measuring cups. I do the same with rice. Anyway, I was worried that I added too much vanilla and waaaay too much cinnamon. But they were SOOOO delicious. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I was really excited about it. What should I make next?!

Anyway, one of the five people I tagged for the Five Things Meme has their video up, so check it out!

Well, I spent all day yesterday drawing and this is what I came up with. I guess I’ll be trying to keep a web comic going, though usually I’ll just draw and draw and then be done for quite a while. But my sister said she’d like to do it with me (read: I’m forcing her to put her good talents to use) and so maybe we can push each other to keep going. It’s a story I’ve had in mind for a long time and I just finally sat down for nine hours and got it all down on paper. I’m working on the second page right now. Let me know what you think, cats.

Oh, and- BRONWYN I GOT YOUR CARD AND IT’S ON MY DESK BECAUSE IT’S SO COOL THANKS FOR THE RECIPE I LOVE YOU LOTS.

Holy crap. It rained today. In fact, it didn’t just rain, it thunderstormed. It’s the beginning of January, it’s not supposed to be raining, it’s supposed to be snowing!! Anyway, Kat and I went out and filmed a lot of it for you and I also made a vlog. Both are uploading to YouTube now. Check back soon! =}

Well, I decided that I would rather starve than go another minute without a tree. I’ve been so excited to get one this year as it will be my very first Christmas tree. And by that I mean it’s mine and in my own apartment and I can put presents under it. I decorated it and picked everything out myself and call it “The Twilight Tree” in case you haven’t watched the video yet. Meijer had the faux trees on sale for 30% off and the ornaments and lights for 25% and it ended today, so it was an absolute must. I’m so happy with it. I find myself staring at it in awe, it’s so elegant. I can’t believe it’s mine. And here I was at the store worried I wouldn’t buy enough ornaments, or the wouldn’t match and look good, and what a retard I was. Sorry, but the tree looks awesome. I’m excited.

I have a candle burning in my room and the sugar cookie potpourri burning downstairs and the house smells of baked goods. It makes my toes warm. I bought some clay last month and I’m going to make some small charms for maybe cell phone straps or a few necklaces. I’m thinking I’ll definitely make some cinnamon buns, but I’m sure I’ll throw in a few pieces of pumpkin pie, donuts, etc. Any other food suggestions for these little charms?

Sorry I haven’t had much to say lately.

(It’s November 5th, so we’re watching V for Vendetta)
