My mom and sisters got a kitten. They want to call him Target because he has a bulls-eye on his sides due to his stripe pattern. Obviously, I have rejected this. Other name options are: “Little John”, “Oliver”, “Lancelot”, and “Jag”. I like Jag and Oliver, honestly. The only one stuck on “Target” is Kimberly. The rest of us think immediately of the store.

Just between you and me, the kitten told me that he does not want to be called Target right after I took this picture.

I lightened my hair to orange. I plan on going back to red, but for a few months I’d like to be orange. I was going to go blonde, but I realize that it’s virtually impossible to do so without stripping and frying my hair. Sorry, Tom. I apologize to all you bloggers out there, I haven’t been checking my friendslist or my blog links the last few days. But I am catching up now. Today my mom, sister and I hung out all day. It was awesome. We went to see Juno and it was incredible. Incredible. She better freaking win an Oscar for that, I don’t care how young she is. She was incredible.

A message to my dearest aunt Jill from my mother (and me): You need to see it!!

EDIT: Okay, what the fuck. Seriously. Ellen Page did not win best actress for Juno, and as much as I love Daniel Day-Lewis, Johnny Depp is probably one of the greatest actors of our time (we’re ignoring Secret Window) and he’s never won an Oscar. I really could kill someone.

I just wanted to say a few, quick things: JC, I’m sorry I missed you, good luck on your move and we will keep in touch. You are an awesome woman and I look up to you a lot.

I found a new setting on my camera and I’m really excited about it. And I’m writing again. I’m working on my Kingdom post and Escaping Iron.

It’s my sister’s twentieth birthday today so I’m going to go make her breakfast and we’re going to play video games. (Her party was yesterday.)

Well, my dad put $1205.30 towards my car loan today.

I am old enough to be grateful for the $1205.30 that I wouldn’t have had otherwise.
I am childish enough to be upset that I took his help and said, “Thank you.”

I can’t tell you how fun this project is, and I’m only nine days in. It’s so much fun trying to sit down and try to capture my day in a photograph. It’s the best form of journaling ever. Though I think I might make an adjustment someday. If I want to capture my day, I don’t think it should be necessary that I always be in the photo. But that could just be me freaking out.

Anyway, Jei and I went shopping today for our families and each other. We got stocking stuffers, candy, and little things to put for each other under the tree, but our main focus was our little brothers and sisters. Did I mention that while I have seven and five year old sisters, he has seven and five year old brothers? We’re both the oldest, with a two year younger sibling, mine being Kat and his Mike. I often use this to remind him that we are perfect for each other.

PS: I figured out last night what I wanted to get Jei- but I can’t say anything because he might read this before then.

PPS: Be productive and avoid this game at all cost!! It’s mad addictive!.
