Papa John’s now has a cinnamon pizza thing?! It’s really, really yummy. Give it a shot if you can. Also, their new pan pizza is also very, very good.

I think it’s incredibly adorable that every time Jei passes one of the sleeping cats he wraps them in the blanket and calls them “swaddle babies” or in the case of The King (Morn) it’s “The Swaddle King”. Every time. Without fail. Sometimes we’ll play a strange version of hide and seek/tag and I’ll enter a silent room where nothing is misplaced but one of the cats is mysteriously wrapped in a blanket. Your kindness has betrayed you, young Dawnspire.

Nicole is in a livejournal community known as Holiday Wishes, where users post their holiday wishlist of up to ten things and anyone who can do something from any wishlist does so. It’s like a Secret Santa without obligation, sort of. And by that I mean you’re not stuck with just one person you barely know and don’t know how to shop for, you can browse through a bunch of people’s lists and see what you can do for any of them. Anyway, one of Nicole’s wishes was cat toys for the entire cat family (because she’s sweet like that) and thanks to Irene, her wish came true. So enjoy this video I made as a thank you from us to her. =)

I’m pretty sure Frost must be sick. For weeks he was fine with Morn and the kittens and everyone was getting along just fine, but recently he’s been really harassing Morn. He’ll chase him all the way up stairs and into my room and Morn just spends most of his time hiding under the bed. It’s awful. And at first I thought maybe Morn and he had gotten in a fight or something, but Frost is now doing it to the kittens. He hisses when they pass and scratches at them if they get anywhere near him. And he wasn’t like this before. Cole tells me he’s never been like this ever, so he might be sick. We’re going to try everything, from adding an extra water bowl to more litter boxes, to whatever it takes. So it’s been a rough couple of days trying to deal with it. The good news is we have the kittens out of the tree and Morn is notably losing some poundage. =)

I *was* going to post about how amazing my day was yesterday, specifically because of all the time Jei and I spent together, but it’s sort of been spoiled. Loki likes to climb pretty high up into my Christmas tree, and I was trying to break him of the habit, but now I’m just upset. He chewed through the electrical wire of my brand new tree. I’m so upset. I should be thankful he didn’t electrocute himself, but instead I find I’m only upset that he continues ruining my $120 tree. He’s broken two branches that I’ve had to tape back up and then this morning I saw that he’d chewed through the wire. He’s on my bed with Morn and Pumpkin and when I look over at him I’m not upset at him, and that’s good, but my overall frustration is through the roof. I wanted to take the tree back for a new one, but I can’t in good conscience do that, so Jei is going to strip the wire and put them back together and try re-taping it.

Look at how tiny he was.

And now at three years old he’s an older brother.

I haven’t felt like updating lately, and I’m not quite sure if it’s because I don’t seem to have the time or because I just don’t feel I have anything to say. I’ve found myself becoming very attached to Loki, the black long haired Norwegian Forest kitten in the photo with Pumpkin and Morn. I’m a cat lady it would seem. There are four cats running around the house and Loki and Pumpkin won’t leave each other’s side. They’re always playing and tearing around the house. It’s comforting. (When they’re not trying to eat each other’s food.) Morn’s doing much better, but has another week of the medication he’s on. He’s also got to lose a few pounds. I’ve got to gain a few. (Lost some in the two day stretch of Morn-urinating-blood-must-call-vet anxiety.) I also got a bathrobe and slippers and have spent the last two days wrapped in it because it keeps me insanely warm. My hair is no longer red but a dull chocolate brown. I want to make a video or something but I’m not sure of what. Any ideas? I got a penguin bath scrubber to match my bathroom. I’m really enjoying the Calibri font type lately as well. I feel like I’m writing one of those letters to a distant relative informing on all the little things that have happened of late. It’s choppy. I’m sorry.
