I made my first batch of “Cinnamon Infusion” pancakes, inspired by Will and the cake he made. They were surprisingly good. And by that I mean I’m always afraid I’ll ruin things because I don’t necessarily know what I’m doing. I add, “pinches” and “a dash of that” and don’t really use measuring cups. I do the same with rice. Anyway, I was worried that I added too much vanilla and waaaay too much cinnamon. But they were SOOOO delicious. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I was really excited about it. What should I make next?!

Anyway, one of the five people I tagged for the Five Things Meme has their video up, so check it out!

I hadn’t been able to find the Cinnamon Bun ice cream by Ben & Jerry’s, but just the other day I was at Meijer and I about had a heart attack. There it was. Only two left. So, thanks Bronwyn! I never would have known about it if it wasn’t for you!

For those of you that like cinnamon buns, you’ll love this. It’s like cookie dough only Cinnamon Buns. Are there any other flavors I should be trying out there? What are your favorites?

And I know I just posted about music yesterday, but I wanted to share this song with you.
Now I’m off to watch Paris, je t’aime.

I feel much better today. Yesterday was beyond awful, and in fact I can barely remember over five hours of my day. But again, today I felt much better so we had our belated feast. (I can’t believe I forgot to take pictures of the mashed potatoes?!) Check out the wonderful pies, thanks to Sara Lee. Yeah. You’re drooling. (Me too.) Because I got sick I didn’t get to go get a tree or even Christmas lights to put up around my room, but soon.

Remind me to share that funny mp3 and the gifts Jei bought for me today. (Technically yesterday.) You can see more pictures from our belated Thanksgiving here -> FOOD + PEOPLE
Reminder: Sara, call around for cheaper car insurance.

I’ve noticed that when it comes to food it’s a habit of mine to enjoy something I like over and over again and then switch to something new, forever rotating. Like, I’ll eat bean and cheese burritos every day for lunch for two months straight, and then I’ll find something new and start eating that. Eventually I’ll get back around to the burritos, though. (Or whatever else it is I find myself forever rotating between.) Does that make any sense? Anyway, it’s strange. Why can’t I just switch from one day to the next eating everything I like? Maybe it has to do with the seasons?

last favorites:
bean and cheese burritos
Morningstar chick’n nuggets + fries + ranch
steamed veggies over rice
Sara’s cheesy pasta
salad

current favorites:
broccoli and cheddar soup over rice
eggs in a basket
egg salad sandwiches
udon noodle soup
salad

Oh, I can’t wait until this Thanksgiving folks because I’m already craving the mashed potatoes and gravy. Last year we didn’t do gravy because it wasn’t vegetarian, this year I’m spoiling myself.

HOLY.
Life just got better.
(Thank you Bronwyn and Ben and Jerry’s.)
