I can’t tell you how fun this project is, and I’m only nine days in. It’s so much fun trying to sit down and try to capture my day in a photograph. It’s the best form of journaling ever. Though I think I might make an adjustment someday. If I want to capture my day, I don’t think it should be necessary that I always be in the photo. But that could just be me freaking out.
Anyway, Jei and I went shopping today for our families and each other. We got stocking stuffers, candy, and little things to put for each other under the tree, but our main focus was our little brothers and sisters. Did I mention that while I have seven and five year old sisters, he has seven and five year old brothers? We’re both the oldest, with a two year younger sibling, mine being Kat and his Mike. I often use this to remind him that we are perfect for each other.
PS: I figured out last night what I wanted to get Jei- but I can’t say anything because he might read this before then.
This is my favorite Christmas song, along with O Holy Night. If anyone has the John Williams version of O Holy Night (from Home Alone) please share! =)
In the meantime, I’m finishing up my Christmas cards today!
Okay, my lovlies. I got a whole bunch of cute Christmas cards at the dollar store and I intend on using them. Addresses please!!

Well, I decided that I would rather starve than go another minute without a tree. I’ve been so excited to get one this year as it will be my very first Christmas tree. And by that I mean it’s mine and in my own apartment and I can put presents under it. I decorated it and picked everything out myself and call it “The Twilight Tree” in case you haven’t watched the video yet. Meijer had the faux trees on sale for 30% off and the ornaments and lights for 25% and it ended today, so it was an absolute must. I’m so happy with it. I find myself staring at it in awe, it’s so elegant. I can’t believe it’s mine. And here I was at the store worried I wouldn’t buy enough ornaments, or the wouldn’t match and look good, and what a retard I was. Sorry, but the tree looks awesome. I’m excited.
I feel much better today. Yesterday was beyond awful, and in fact I can barely remember over five hours of my day. But again, today I felt much better so we had our belated feast. (I can’t believe I forgot to take pictures of the mashed potatoes?!) Check out the wonderful pies, thanks to Sara Lee. Yeah. You’re drooling. (Me too.) Because I got sick I didn’t get to go get a tree or even Christmas lights to put up around my room, but soon.
Remind me to share that funny mp3 and the gifts Jei bought for me today. (Technically yesterday.) You can see more pictures from our belated Thanksgiving here -> FOOD + PEOPLE
Reminder: Sara, call around for cheaper car insurance.
Sara is a girl who spends her days feeling. She likes acting, photos, instruments, writing, music, and books. I know this because she is me. And on most days I'm her too.
