I can't wait to see WALL-E! I have been so anxious to see it for like a year now and since it came out we have been so busy. Hopefully next week we can see it!

Not sure if you dealt with things properly. I hear you on that one. I am so glad you enjoyed Wall E. I really want to see it, it looks really good. I think its because it reminds me of short circuit and man do I love that movie.

I agree with Captain Cynical, I think it only makes you stronger if you can look back and decipher parts of your life like that. I do this all the time so I know exactly what you mean.

Btw, it's impossible to see this blue on blue design with such a small default font.. at least for me.

I loved the conservation message of Wall-E. I also love how it was produced and distributed by a large corporation for consumption, where the costs of the movie and distribution would have made a bigger impact as a donation. Also, all the merchandise the movie will spawn that will eventually just take up space in a landfill.

Ironic! But I'm just being cynical and splitting hairs.

Also, as humans, everything effects us. All we do is process our experiences and senses. I'd be more worried if you couldn't look back and re-evaluate. Being able to analyze yourself or a situation, even if you thought said situation was "over," doesn't make you mechanical.

That is it exactly.
It's frustrating to see how such events shaped me. I feel like I should be "stronger" than that.

=(

AND THANK YOU FOR THE ETSY LINK!!

(Hey Sara, sorry to leave you a comment unrelated to your entry! But prelapsarianme on lj (of Postlapsaria -- cool handmade clothes and such) put up a brontosaurus necklace on Etsy and I had to point you at it.)

And yes. I can almost see the levers in the past making me walk, talk, act the way I do now, and it's frustrating. For me it's a lot of stuff that happened at school that's been pretty formative in damaging ways, and trying to unravel it and come to terms with things is-- well, a bit like being a princess under trials in a fairytale, having to separate giant piles of grain. Where are my helpful mouse and ant companions?
