Firstly, I’m continually shocked by all the crazy poses Jei manages to fall asleep in. Pretty sure only he can fall asleep in some of them. Obviously this one isn’t so crazy, but this morning I saw him sleeping on the floor with his arm straight in the air. No lie. As if he was in zero gravity or something. He’s taken to sleeping in his swimming shorts. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him swim in them. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him swim. (It happens to be one of my favorite things ever.) He tells me it’s going to stay that way.

It was so grotesquely hot today I almost couldn’t stand it. It doesn’t help that in the summer the entire upstairs becomes a sauna. So basically if you’re upstairs you’re swimming in sweat all day. And just as I was thinking it might actually be summer, guess what I heard coming down the street?

The ice cream truck.

Kat came running in a few minutes later and we giggled about it. I remember when we first came to the States and we heard the ice cream truck we chased it down for two blocks because we’d never had one before. It was just like in the movies. Simple pleasures, I tell you.

Oh, I pulled my left calf muscle.
It huuuurrrts.

This is random… but I thought I’d share.

I work at KB toys now and there is a guy who always comes in and talks anime with me and the customers. He came in one day and there happened to be a Japanese woman and her daughter nearby.

Somehow we sucked her into our conversation and began talking about all of these ancient shows. Out of nowhere, she’s like, “OH!! AND THE ONE WITH BREAD! KOGEPAN! REMEMBER THAT ONE?!”

I stood there with my jaw on the floor. (I had never heard of the show until I found out you liked it)

I just laughed and nodded …and realized instantly that I wouldn’t rest until I told you this.

AND.. I am jealous of that picture of you. It is stunning.

HAHAHAHAHA. I love Kogepan sooo much! Thank you for sharing. I miss you!

We need to write some CttG or Kingdom action.

I found my old notebook with about fourteen pages of Kingdom stuff. I got all pumped and excited.

How can you be so sweaty and “gross” and still look incredible? :p

It’s awfully hot here too. We shockingly have air conditioning here at the farm but it’s frigid on the main floor, and, well, not so much upstairs. *sigh*

Yeah, we have an air conditioner but it’s one of the ones that sits in the wall like in The Brave Little Toaster and chills the bottom floor of the house but you still roast upstairs. =(

And thank you for the compliment. =D
