Yesterday was a lot of fun. I’d been stressing about my projects for the end of school, and work scheduled me for the early hours of 10-6, so after I was done Tyler, Rue, and I snagged some food from Ruby Tuesdays (the strawberry lemonade is amazing) and then came home to Jei setting up TNG for us to watch. The four of us crammed on the couch and started the mini-marathon, with Ash to join us shortly thereafter. (Did you end up pulling an all nighter?)

We also baked another pumpkin pie, in which five minutes of the prep was used for Tyler and Rue trying to figure out the clock timer on the front of the stove. Just watching them go back and forth and try to logically explain the movements on some of the gadgets made me smile. ‘School is almost over. We’re moving into a house together. We’re standing here baking a pumpkin pie ready to watch TNG and everything is just going our way.’ We ended up slightly over cooking the pie because we took some time to run to the 7/11 for some soda.

One of the high points of course was that we spent at least ten minutes [no joke] laughing hysterically at one particular point in the show which I have spliced and uploaded to share with all of you. It’s in the middle of the “intense” conversation and the captain makes a very, very odd noise.
