WTF. WHATTHEFUCK. You’ve got to be kidding me. They seriously thought Mayo would be the best choice for a new heroine? She’s trying to PULL APART MIAKA AND TAMAHOME? Granted, Miaka and Tamahome were not my favorite characters by any stretch of the imaginiation- still. She’s selfish, spoiled, and makes up her own reality! She reminds of a certain person I know who’s also crazy just like that. I can’t believe they thought people would like her. INSANE. It doesn’t surprise me it bombed. The only good thing is the voices are the same, it’s nice animation, and we get to see some reincarnation action. But that’s about it.

Yuck @ Eikoden. But have you read Genbu Kaiden yet? It’s surprisingly amazing - not as good as its predecessor, but the heroine is *almost* more likable than Miaka, just because she’s much more level-headed, and can handle a sword.

I’ve heard a lot about it and I’m really excited to read it! I’m trying to get my hands on it as we speak. Errr. Type.

PS: It figures it sucks since Watase didn’t actually write Eikoden. I’m sort of glad it bombed so that no more was made.
