Jei and I had our two year anniversary on the 28th, and when I came home from work an amazing dinner awaited ready for us in our room, on a blanket as if for a picnic, and there was something playing on the TV. It was two little animated people roaming around on a screen labelled Sara and Jei. I stared at for a minute and then noticed the box next to the TV. “Wii”. Jei bought a Wii for our anniversary along with two games:

My sister and I used to play these games all the time when we were younger- and for several years after the Nintendo 64 and Playstation came out, we still had our trusty SegaCDX console in which we would play Columns together, or Streets of Rage, along with other games like Ristar and Ecco the Dolphin. I would just like to take a moment to add that I will be purchasing Ecco the Dolphin and Ristar for the Wii, for about… $8 a piece.

Tonight we go to pick out a few more games and then we’re off to the Resort just outside of town where we are going to spend our anniversary weekend for free, because he works there.

I am very excited, I will take pictures, perhaps a video, and I will have an amazing adventure. I also plan on posting a question that you wonderous readers, even you lurkers, better answer! You’ll have ALL weekend.

Cheers, cats.

New layout! Like whoa! So pretty. :)

Congratulations on two years! :D Again…take that previous comment back. ;)

Ah, the days of N64. I still play that thing! Diddy Kong Racing was my obsession. Then Mario64. Then the two Zelda games. I’m still working on the second one, ha.

I loved Ditty Kong Racing!! Timber!! My hero! Thanks, I’m still working on it… like the alignment on this page is a little off.
But oh well, I’ll figure it out.

I would have to agree, the new layout does indeed look very nice. As for arcade games, I dont know but it seems that my attraction to older arcade games grows exponentially. Me and my brother always end up spending hours on some old retro game from the 80’s rather than any of the newer games with very few exceptions :-)

Thank you too, Spiros! Arcade games are completely the way to go. =D OLD arcade games. Did you/do you have a favorite?
