Reminder for ‘o7: Take more vacations.
I am dying to take a road trip.

I always forget “Rabbit, rabbit”. As a side note, for those interested in the traveling books, what should I use for them- I’ve been wondering if I want to use those $6 or $7 ones you usually find at Borders, that are plain and somewhat small, or if I should just deck out a composition notebook. Which then brings me to the next question- lined paper or blank?

Help!

(PS: For those of you that can’t place that oh-so-sexy and familiar voice for this week’s song- It’s Janove Ottesen, the lead singer of Kaizers Orchestra. Enjoy.)

I think blank paper is the best idea. More creativity spills from blank pages rather than lined. Just my personal opinion though. ;)

I think 7 x 10, softcover, twin-ring notebooks with off-white paper and muted lines are the best…though if I can find a workable size with blank paper I do like that. (Blank pages are so often in oversized or hardbound small books.) I like 7 x 10 with soft covers because you can write in tight spaces, should you be in a crowded environment. It’s not too outrageous on its space commitments. I try to avoid the small, hardcover books because they are sometimes tough to keep open.

My absolute favorite notebooks are simple Campus brand ones that I bought in Tokyo’s Narita airport for 200 yen ($2 I think) each. I bought three on my first visit last year and 6 on my second and am at the end of the last one, sadly. Must find a new favorite brand.

Happy travels! Write and write often.

At the time, those pictures made me so mad. I felt like a douche for being the only one there still in her elmo slippers. But I think I was under the impression that we were just loading up the car and not getting you all ready to hit the road?!

ANYWAY.

I agree. You two douchebags (and I mean that as lovingly as possible) should come visit me again sometime. This time, Bonamy, I will not go easy on you at MarioKart.

:p

I forget who won what (though I have a picture of the screen that someone demanded a photo off) but I do know that I lost. : )
