Well, I just never seem to learn. So let me explain, when we were moving I found this old box of hair dye that had been unused. It was to lighten super dark hair. Now, I like my hair color, but I thought I would use it instead of throwing it out and so I lightened my hair. And that’s why it looks so much lighter in the pictures where I’m painting. Okay, so I liked it, but it was too blonde for me, so I got some dye to return it to normal. And my hair turned orange red. Upon asking Marissa, my co-worker and beautician, she told me because I used “warming”, and that I should be thankful, because had I used “ash” I would have turned my hair green, and I agreed with her- because Clementine tangerine orange is oh-so-much better than green. And so according to her expertise it’s very fixable, so hopefully it will be fixed and back to normal within a week.
On another note, I had yet another idea earlier this week- I started making this scrapbook, and I wanted to fill some of the pages and then leave it somewhere, like at a public restroom or something with my contact information, or maybe just even this site- to see if anyone fills it out and passes it along. So while I’m chewing on this idea, I start thinking of Flat Stanley, and how similar my idea is to that and how dependent on other people it is- there HAS to be other people that have already thought of this. And so I googled it. And then I spent hours fiddling around on this site and of course I signed up. However, it doesn’t look like anything’s open- so I might just try starting one of my own just to see how it works.

PS: I’ve spent most of my day coding with Jade for her journal. We’ve had a lot of fun and she’s a great artist, I’m excited to see what it’s going to look like when we’re done. ; )
