Read this part after video watching otherwise you’ll only catch bits and pieces:

So, what I was TRYING to say was that in high school, I remember that there was cool and uncool. Either your personality made you weird and unaccepted or it made you popular. I remember on occasion we’d use terms like “jock”, and “preppy” but not very often. It was like we’d use what we enjoyed to describe ourselves. She’s a drama geek. He’s a football player. She’s a druggie. He’s in band.

Now there’s all these different and new classifications like, scenster and hipster and indie and they all have a certain “look” and they all have subcategories. I don’t remember it being that way. It just seems to be getting so much worse, that’s all. Since the use of “Emo” became popular, it seems like these need to classify people- young adults- has only gotten worse. I think teens have enough problems trying to discover themselves at that age; they don’t need to find a term and mold themselves to it. That’s all I was really trying to say.

I guess I’m tired of hearing, “Are you a ________?”

No, I’m me.

Awww I love this video blogging thing! Keep doing it! That was hilarious after the first thunder clap. Sara uncensored is entertaining. ;) Anyway, I agree with what you’re saying about the labels. It is weird. I never thought to compare it to my own high school experience which was like yours.

HA omg thunder here! It was raining earlier but maybe your storm moved north! By the way…someone doesn’t have rain? I can’t comprehend! At my old university the city rained ALL the time. It became really, really depressing.

You are too cute. I love your vlogs. You should keep them going.

Also, you have flawless skin. What in the world do you use to wash your face? That, or you must not wear any makeup. Someone told me once that makeup ruins your skin, and the more I think about it, the more it makes sense because your skin is fine before you ever start wearing makeup… then it starts clogging your pores and it becomes a big mess.

Okay, that was off the subject and a big rant… but back on track, I love your videos. And I think I’ve already said that. Yep. “Cheers!”

Amazing thunder!! Wow!

Re. the “need” to conform to whatever particular “non-conformist” cult that teens choose, I think that in school-days, safety-in-numbers has the most to do with it. It’s so ironic, because it’s the kids who don’t belong to a cult who get the most hassle (for being too individual and difficult to pigeonhole)!
