Yesterday was wonderful, aside from the fact that I was feeling pretty sick through the morning hours and didn’t really sleep well. So I phoned into work and took a paid day off- and most of my reasoning behind this was yes, I was sick, but more importantly neither Tyler nor Rue worked and it had been a while since we spent an entire day and night together. So we got up early and went to Big Boy and I had their wonderful Strawberry topped pancakes with whipped cream and their strawberry sauce. It’s the second time I’ve had them and they are so good.

Typically I’m a two eggs, hash browns, and wheat toast kind of girl, and it’s very predictable when the three of us go out to eat breakfast. Tyler and I will get the exact same order, except I order my eggs sunny side up and he goes for over-medium, sometimes when he’s feeling risky he’ll do over-hard, and Rue grabs the two eggs, scrambled, hash and white toast. I think that I like being able to be predictable and I enjoy the fact that we can sit down, order our drinks and our meals at the same time, and we barely ever need time to browse around the menu.

After breakfast we dashed across the street to Meijer (jokingly we pronounce it “Me- juh- er” instead of “My-her”) to get some cage free eggs and of course my fake chicken nuggets! Not only were they on sale, but I had a coupon that I was able to use on the sale items. I bought all the boxes they carry because I love these things so much. And when they’re dipped in ranch they are even more oh-so-delectable. Everyone take a moment to extend in silence your warmest sympathy to kindigo because over there in Germany she doesn’t have ranch. I love anything I can microwave and eat quickly because I’m impatient. The nuggets warm up in two minutes, and my bean and cheese burritos in one. In fact, I am eating a bean and cheese burrito right now for lunch. I am utterly content.

I’m sure the majority of you don’t care what I’m eating or other little ridiculous things like that, but I’m so overwhelmed by the fact that I can feel like I can post whatever I want again- it’s definitely taken me by storm. For those of you that weren’t aware, which is fine because I kept it hush hush, for the last several months I’ve been dealing with this intense stalker issue that really wasn’t targeted at me (except for what music I was listening to…) but more so the rascals, specifically Rue and Tyler. So I was having a hard time posting about the things we were doing together and stuff we were enjoying because this person was avidly reading about them and checking if I was posting pictures, videos, anything. And I mean, they are a huge part of my life. They’re my best friends and my roommates. What are you supposed to post about if you can’t write about such a major part of your activities? And it’s tiring because I was being so nice about the issue when time and time again both Tyler and Rue urged me to do otherwise. But that issue has been resolved, thank goodness, and I truly feel that I can post whatever the heck I want to again. And it feels so good. So here:

Rue and Morn, The King.

Then we watched movies, made stirfry and rice, and talked for quite some wee odd hours into the night. I feel so good lately and I wish I could just bottle that up and send it to each of you splattered all over a postcard so you can inhale it and be intoxicated by it too.

Have a grand day,
Cheers.

I think I just drooled a bit.

I think I felt better just by reading your entry, haha. I’m glad everything is better now, good grief, people can be so strange.

How odd to spell ‘em Chik’n Nuggets. It doesn’t abbreviate the word for pronunciation and makes duplicating it in text a bitch since it’s trying so hard to stand out through unconventional means.

Or maybe they hope Chik’n looks exotic? like a Chinese province name?

My uncle’s fiancee used to eat McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets when she was on vegetarian jags because, she reasoned, they didn’t actually have any chicken content. She was probably right.

I’d go with the fake nuggets. The whole notion of reconstituted, shaped meat is weird weird weird. It makes sense when it’s a fruit roll-up and you’re peeling off a sheet that looks like a spaceship. But when you can buy chicken that’s sold shaped like a spaceship and they claim it IS chicken, RUN.

Oh! I *loved* fruit roll-ups, but had entirely forgotten about their existence until this moment.

I think they don’t want to name it “Chicken” because there don’t want some people like Pita getting in a tiffy over it and throwing paint all over them or something.

But back to the fruit roll-ups, I now feel that I must be going through withdrawl, I have to go get some now.

Oh, wait. Duh. Why would they spell it “chicken” if it isn’t chicken? Sometimes the solution is the closest one to you…which means it’s the least likely for me to notice.

I went to IKEA the other day. I was entranced by a wall-mounted bar on which hung a dish drying rack one could fold up. Then I remembered I have a foldable dish drying rack. I could just close it and lean it against the wall for the same amount of room. Problem: SOLVED…but way slow.

Are your eyes really two different colors? like David Bowie’s? Or is this a contacts issue? Either way, I think that’s neat. Neat, I say!

They fluctuate, but it’s always the same eye. Either they both match, or my left eye is green and my right eye is blue.

PS: David Bowie’s are real?

Actually, I don’t know. I’m not really one to do the research on that, probably because I don’t want to spoil the legend.

It’s “chick and nuggets” - gawsh. Baby chickens. And their nuggets. They’re too cheap to separate them.

David Bowie was punched in the eye by a friend when he was younger- the one eye’s pupil is permanently dilated as a result of the injury. So yes, they’re real. Actually I think he may have (somewhat) recently undergone surgery to fix it?
