So I will be going home for a week long vacation next year for my birthday. I’m starting to save for my spending money. This was the best Christmas ever.

We had our huge feast on Christmas Eve and I’m getting ready to devour mashed potatoes. Because they’re my favorite part. My mom and sisters came over, we cooked all day, ate, and then opened our presents. Then on Christmas day Jei and I went to see his family. Lots of Planet Earth. All in all it’s been a wonderful, wonderful time.

PS: I’m now starting October of my journal transcribing! I’m catching up!

How was your Christmas?

Merry Christmas to you, too : )
Mine was relaxing - which is exactly what I needed.

I got your card today and it brought a smile to my face. I actually bought christmas cards today because I want to send them out next year and, oddly enough, mine have penguins on them, too.

Great minds think alike.

My christmas was pretty calm. Spent it with the family at home as always. Could’ve been better if they had let me watch that Arcade Fire concert on tv. But noooooo, we had to have some Christmas music on. Blah. These people have no taste. ahaha :p

Mashed potatoes! YUM YUM!

My Christmas was reasonably uneventful. And WARM.

(also, in Aus, we have a name for the 26th - Boxing Day. Its a public holiday, but i don’t know what it means?)
