So we, being my sister and my roommates, come home today from a fun day out shopping and messing about to find a package left on our doorstep by the mailman (or woman). It was wrapped in a nice plastic bag to avoid getting wet from the rain and had no return address on it. It was addressed to my sister and me. We stood there stunned for a minute, we weren’t expecting any package, especially not one as cool as this.
So we decided, after much debate, (okay not really) that we would open it. There was no card. Inside, however, were two gorgeous gift bags. Just for the record the plaid bag is the perfect size for a Japanese bento box I’ve been eyeing and I plan on using it to carry my lunch. And, well, it’s plaid?

Inside Kat’s bag was none other than German chocolate. Real German chocolate. We seriously sat for about three minutes and wondered who knew a) that she’d spent the last year and Germany b) what her favorite chocolates were while she was there and c) who would send her such a treat without a need for any special occasion.

Inside my bag was, oh I don’t need to say it because you can see the picture but I will anyway for effect (what effect?), CINNAMON BUN HEAVEN.

So now the question became harder. Whoever sent this mysterious package must have known that I was not only obsessed with plaid, but that I also adored the Cinnamon Bun Heaven fragrance from the Bath and Body works line Temptations. So they’ve either a) been in my room or seen my YouTube video displaying my collection or b) read my blog.
(Obviously our father was ruled out immediately.)
But we were almost positive that we knew who it was, and after a few phone calls, we were positive.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HIDE, MYSTERIOUS AND KIND SENDER, FOR WE KNOW IT WAS YOU.
AND WE WANT TO THANK YOU AND REMIND YOU THAT YOU CANNOT FOOL US.
And we want to say we love you and we’re touched you were thinking of us.
We love you, Aunt Jyl!
Thank you!

What a wonderful surprise! :D You have a very thoughtful aunt…feel like trading? ;D
