I *was* going to post about how amazing my day was yesterday, specifically because of all the time Jei and I spent together, but it’s sort of been spoiled. Loki likes to climb pretty high up into my Christmas tree, and I was trying to break him of the habit, but now I’m just upset. He chewed through the electrical wire of my brand new tree. I’m so upset. I should be thankful he didn’t electrocute himself, but instead I find I’m only upset that he continues ruining my $120 tree. He’s broken two branches that I’ve had to tape back up and then this morning I saw that he’d chewed through the wire. He’s on my bed with Morn and Pumpkin and when I look over at him I’m not upset at him, and that’s good, but my overall frustration is through the roof. I wanted to take the tree back for a new one, but I can’t in good conscience do that, so Jei is going to strip the wire and put them back together and try re-taping it.

Awww, bad kitty!

My old cat brought down our tree a ton of times breaking a lot of ornaments that were passed down through the family. We’d always have to put the nonbreakable ornaments on the bottom half. He also ate our popcorn string, lol.

Haha, yeah, and he’s just a kitten so I’m trying not to get too upset. It’s a fixable thing and I can train him not to go near the tree. It just takes a little bit of time. =)

Reminds me of my friends house-bunny. She’s the most adorable, fat fluffy grey lop-ear, but my GOD she can seriously chew.

Actually, Meggs made a facebook group about it even

It will make you giggle

But I’m sorry about your tree :(

Taking a nibble outta crime, eh?! Haha, that’s so good.

And Bronnie, I’m trying it immediately. Bloody brilliant.
