It’s fall, and thus, camera season. I must resist the urge to even look at the new releases, or the cameras that have gone on sale in consequence. Just. Say. No. Don’t even look. But. It’s. So. HARD. Stop taunting me, Digital Rebel XTi, stop!

I’ve been looking at new cameras :) someone here on campus wants to buy mine but I wont sell until I can find a 1D. XTi’s are just as good as the XT, the only major difference is is that the XT has some issues when you take Large pictures and the XTI has no problem with that. My bro just bought one before leaving for Florida and he loves it : ) Hope your fall is coming along well and enjoying your camera.

I just bought a new camera. The camera I had was a very good one, but limited the type of pictures I want to take. My boyfriend has an account with Dell, so I ordered a Canon Rebel XT. I only have to make payments of $18.00 a month. I was torn between the Nikon D40, Canon XT, and the Canon XTi. After reading many reviews, I settled on the XT because I heard the upgrade (the XTi) wasn’t much of an improvement, and the picture quality from Canon is better than Nikon. Plus, I’m already used to Canon cameras since I own one. So it’s easier to pick up and learn, instead of starting out with a completely different brand. Anyway, I’m rambling on and on, so I’ll get to the point. I think a DSLR is a good investment, and with all the deals going on online for some of the older models, I think it’s a great time to buy.
