I agree with most of the guys here…personally I don’t hang out with other guys all that much if there isn’t another female there, out of respect for Ink, you know? I would just say to use your head. I would be wary of him; have a friendly conversation and tie up lose ends.

I don’t know, I’ll bring it up, but I don’t know what he’ll say. We’ll see. Though if he does just want it to be the two of us I think that alone would speak clearly about his expectations and intentions.

And I think you’re absolutely right. I am honestly over it, but I don’t want him just throwing himself in front of a train when it can be avoided. But if he’s going to he’s going to, I guess. We’ll just have to see.

and B) If he *is* here out of hope for whatever, the only one who should end up hurt is him. I mean, just go with the complete intention that you’re just going to catch up with an old friend and don’t let him turn it into anything else.

I think the problem is that all men are different, just like all people- you know this… and also not only different from each other but often different over time. There’s no way of knowing in honesty what he’ll be like til you get there. But you can get a head start by just asking him. “Are you going to try and … ?”. If you set out the boundaries before you even get there, and tell him that spending time with an old friend is what you want - it’ll then be up to him if it still goes ahead or not.

i think there is no harm in meeting him; you know there can’t be anything, and you’ve made it clear to him that there can’t be anything. if things get ‘too much’ you can always just walk away i guess….

Maybe he’s moved on and he just needs to close that chapter of his life, say what he needs to say, and we’ll move from there.
