Well, now that I’m awake. Geez. (Can you tell I’m grumpy about it?)
Cole, Kat, and I had a picnic yesterday. It was actually our second this season. Coley made this incredible cheesecake. I’m not a huge fan of cheesecake like most the rest of the world because it’s usually really, really rich. Yuck. But this was really delicate and delicious. We’re talking about crushing raspberries into a paste for next time because that would be even more incredible. We also spent some time reading aloud The Enchanted Forest Chronicles, which is hilarious. One of my favorite things in the world is being read to. It was a good day.

Holy pictures.
I’m pretty sure that my skin glows when I’m in the sun. I’m like this huge blinding beam of reflected light I’m so pale. I’m hoping that I can get tan this year, not because I think pale is ugly, or whatever other atrocities I might be accused of, but because it means I got off my ass and off the computer and spent some time in nature. I’d really like to do that this year.

Yeah - I’m the last person you’d think would “want to get a tan” but it’s come to the point that, when I want to wear shorts, I warn people. “DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE LEGS. DANGER.” Also, in the olden days, tan women were the ones who worked hard and went outdoors. That’s pretty cool.
Hahaha. I should have known you’d know exactly what I meant. I’d like to just spend more time outside, because I’ve definitely been lacking in that department. Maybe just plop down and read a book, or take a nap. Soak up the healthy rays of the sun.
=}
Hey, though, at least we know that we’ll never get hit by a bus or anything.
WHAT IS THAT BLINDING BEACON?!?!
I don’t know, DODGE IT.
