I remember you could use the lead pipe to kill everything in the game once you got it, save for a few bosses. I mean, you could still kill the bosses with the pipe if you wanted to, but it certainly made it easier using, say...the hunting rifle. Silent Hill 2 is still my favorite survival horror game.
