For those of you living in the United States and also coming up on Memorial Day weekend, get your purses out and start peeling your eyes. (Haha. Go on, laugh. It’s punny.) This weekend kicks off the major thrift shopping, garage sale, second hand weekend of the year! Everyone’s doing their spring/summer cleaning and prepairing for garage sales! I know I’m excited! I’m bringing my camera, of course, and I’ll take lots of photos, even though I still have a bunch to upload from last weekend.
I am looking to decorate my house, as it’s terribly plain and there isn’t much inside at all. Any help from anyone with an eye for design would be MUCH appreciated. I will take some photos of the apartment tonight and come back and upload them here so you can see what a barren disaster it is. I’m hoping to nab some good decorations this weekend.

I loooove going garage sale and thrift store shopping! you can find the coolest, most unique things! I am currently trying to do a mod 1940s-50s look to my home, and I’ve found some really great items so far. Plus, you can’t beat the prices! Good luck on your treasure hunting expedition!
