I used to live in this small little town in Alaska called “the Butte” and every one always made fun of it, mispronouncited it. I’d always explain it, “No… BUTTE.. sounds like Beauty without the Y”. There was even someone dumb enough to name a local store, “The Butte Trading Post” — you can only imagine what fun we had with that as kids.
