“I am a galley slave to pen and ink.”
Welcome to my corner of the internet's vast library.
I've been writing since I could hold a pencil, be it keeping a journal, blogging, or writing ridiculous fiction staring my friends and myself. My schooling had an intense impact on the encouragment to write, as the DODs schools in Kinser, Japan had a creative writing story assignment once a week and the students in my class never changed.
Unlike American schools where you would switch classrooms and students you shared that class with every period, in Japan my "class" consisted of maybe twenty or twenty-two kids, and we had the same subjects together all day long. Whether it be Spanish immersion, Japanese culture, math, or creative writing, we were so comfortable with each other that it wasn't a problem voicing our creativity.
I write mostly young adult fiction, with an occasional adult drabble. My stories are wide in their range starting at dragons and spell casting in The Damned to zombies and gene maniuplation in Hallowed Be Thy Grave. A lot of my work I prefer to do in collaborations, just because it's more fun that way! It allows the creative process to get flowing and you can both giggle, cry, and yell at the same peice of work together.
I'd like to put a personal shout out to Anna, who I do a lot of my writing with, as well Tom, Paul, and Mike, who I wrote and finished several stories with for several years. Also another shout to Sabine and Mallory, who are some stunningly talented writers themselves, and anyone else who's ever written a story with me. Thank you, without any of you, I wouldn't be where I am today.
I've also placed a comment option inside each section so please feel free to leave comments. They make me feel warm inside.
