I just wanted to take a moment to share what a wonderful day with Tyler I had yesterday. I was out of work several hours earlier than I normally am, and he was kind enough to pick me up and spend some time with me. We talked and talked and talked and talked. We spoke about music before, during and after our dinner and we discussed politics, relationships, our ex’s, our own personal adventures and our scary moments. We bundled up together and took a walk out in the snow to the local video store to rent a movie and on the way we talked some more. The snow was coming down, the air cold and crisp, and the wind was beating in our faces, making our noses run and our cheeks rosy red. I just, I can’t even put into words everything that happened but it was good quality time with the two of us and I hold it very dear to me. It was a smashing time I spent learning more about a friend.
